Did you have fun at our 50th Reunion?

My boyfriend Keith and I had a great time!  Starting with hosting a "Hospitality Room" at the Comfort Inn.  We jammed about 20 + classmates in there to have a little PRE greeting on Friday from 11am to 4pm!

Then the Friday night BBQ to have the opportunity to spend some additional time with classmates... the food was great and the company was even better!

Well..... what can I say about our Saturday 50th Reunion... the committee was there at 10 am to 12:30 decorating and tending to last minute details.  Then back over at 2:45 to start checking in our long lost classmates from 63' and 64'.  The food was the best, classic cars lining the path to the entrance, the fun free "Photo Booth", the Bar, the Reunion Photographers, the DJ, the Cigar bar including bonfire, the 2 teachers that came, the dancing, the laughter, the slideshow.... all... made it a great success.  120+ classmates and friends, having the time of their lives!  It was certainly above and beyond my wildest expectations!  THANK YOU ALL!!!  Lu

Had a wonderful time, couldn't have been better!  Sorry I missed Fri night but enjoyed the Sat and Sun events.  The location, food, music, prizes, dancing, videos, slide shows, classic cars, etc. were the very best!   Thanks not only to the commitee but others who made it very special!

What can I say about this reunion - fantastic, amazing, doesn't even begin to describe it!  It was fun, fun, fun from Friday to Sunday.  Catching up with old (don't really care much for that word) friends was great.  From the location, food, music (great DJ), decorations, etc. it was the best reunion ever.  Only bad thing was that it had to end.  Any future reunions will be hard to top this .  All I can say is the Class of South Gate High '63 (and other classes that were there - can't forget the teachers - Coach Jones showed us youngsters how to dance) really know how to party!!!

The reunion is an event I will remember (hopefully) for years to come.  It could not have been better.  I had a fabulous time.  Mike Montelone and his wife went above and beyond when it came to hospitality and making everyone feel welcome to their fabulous venue.  It was wonderful to see old friends and chat with new ones.  A special thank you to Lu and the reunion team.  You did yourselves proud.  I am so thankful I attended and look forward to another one down the road.  In the meantime, my knees are recovering from dancing!  If anyone did not attend, please come to the next one - you will not be disappointed.

Louie, Mike and Hennie and all the Reunion Committee - can't thank you enough for an excellent event.  You can be proud that all the planning, meetings, e-mails resulted in a weekend that will be remembered by all that we're able to attend.  Can't wait for the next one.  Terry
